Padang MPK stands for Padang Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan (Field of Kuantan's Municipality Council ).

It is a wide field with good accessibility to Masjid Negeri Kuantan, TM Point Kuatan, MayBank, Bank Rakyat and other places that people will always visit. Padang MPK also work as the arena for sports events or any big events for people in Kuantan. Check out Hari Malaysia 2011 once held at Padang MPK. >>>

The most significance events held at Padang MPK that makes the place infamous is outdoor Iftar during Ramadhan. It is a famous culture of Kuantan's townspeople that Utusan, NST and Harian Metro published about the event in their news.

A gathering around masjid sometime were held at Padang MPK because they are side by side.
Visitors can buy their food at the stalls opened by the field side. The stalls will be operating through out the month. There is lots of delidious foods and beverages since it also operated as Bazaar. I once spent RM20 to buy snacks for my family.

Enjoy the moment. Make sure yo cover your aurat okay

Sometimes people also bring a mat together

After Iftar, you can joined the Tarawih prayer at Masjid Negeri Kuantan. Make sure you eat quickly, perform Maghrib prayer ^_^
